This family wanted their children’s bedroom to reflect their personalities. The older boy loves graffiti art, so we wanted to leave open room and white walls for him to feel he could use his bedroom as an artist studio. The younger boy wanted his room to feel like he was on the top of the snowy mountain ready to ski down; we knew exactly what wallpaper to use. The red accents in the room truly add playful character to the room. The master bedroom is mainly neutral, creating a space for rest, but the bold black geometric lines from the drapes and lamps add tension that creates intrigue and uniqueness.

Favorite part of the project:

I LOVE the red chair in the younger’s boy bedroom.

Biggest challenge faced:

Creating rooms for children that they can grow into and still love years later.
